About Chase
I’ve been an avid CrossFitter since 2011. I’ve served roughly 8 years in the military, and currently I’m in the Kansas City, MO Fire Academy as a cadet. I’m a married man going on 8 years and I’m a father to two amazing young boys. For fun, I love watching movies, primarily anything Marvel!
Personal Philosophy
Lead by example. If I’m leading soldiers, coaching my classes, or working at an emergency scene, I will always do my best to lead with integrity, pride, and discipline. I will never ask someone to do something that I’m not willing to do myself or that I could accomplish without help. I’d rather a person follow my lead because they want to, not because they feel they have to. At the end of the day though, it’s about being a good person.
What fuels your fire?
I want to spread as much mental health awareness on depression and suicide, especially for men. I feel there is such a negative context surrounding men and allowing themselves to freely express their emotions without feeling degraded or branded as being “less than a man.” I have just found that the more open I am about my struggles, the more people I’m able to positively reach.
Why Resilience?
I want to be associated with companies that align with my personal message. Resilience is veteran owned and ran, and they understand what it’s like to be at the worst because they’ve seen it themselves. Knowing I can be with a company that’s sole mission is to put others first above themselves; that’s the definition of leading from the front.
